Dr Mohammed Iqbal Sultan (MBChB, FRACGP)
Mohammed was born in Durban, South Africa where he qualified as a Medical Practitioner with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Natal. He migrated to Australia in 1998 and he obtained the Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and is registered as a Specialist General Practitioner.
He has been a Medical Practitioner for over 30 years and has been a General Practitioner in Gatton for the past 18 years, as the owner and Practice Principal of the Family Health Clinic in Gatton.
In 2014 the Compton Mediclinic in Underwood in Brisbane was established, fulfilling his passion to establish a comprehensive Medical facility. This has Medical, Dental, Allied healthcare and pathology services.
Mohammed is also an accredited mentor and supervisor for Doctors training for the RACGP Fellowship.
Dr Zohra Ismail (F) (MBChB, FRACGP)
Zohra qualified as a Medical Practitioner in Zimbabwe, with a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery.
Migrated to Australia where she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is registered as a Specialist General Practitioner.
Zohra has been a GP on the South-side of Brisbane for the past 20 years. She has a special interest in Women's health and Child health.
Zohra is also an accredited mentor and supervisor for Doctors training for the RACGP Fellowship.
Dr Richardy Hostiadi (MBBS, FRACGP)
Richard was born in Indonesia and migrated to Australia in 1997. He initially trained as Registered Nurse before being accepted at University of Queensland Medical School where he graduated as a Doctor in 2013, worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, in several disciplines including cardiology, chronic pain, rehabilitation, paediatric surgery, and obstetrics.
Richard obtained his fellowship in General Practice (FRACGP) in December 2017. His special interests are Cardiology and Chronic Disease management.
Richard is also passionate about sport in general and has completed 2 Marathons, a half Marathon, a Tough Mudder, a 14 km Spartan Race, and this year will compete in the Spartan Race at the Suncorp Stadium. He joined the Clinic in 2016, and before long became a very integral part of our team
Dr Nida Shaukat (MBBS)
Nida completed her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree from King Edward Medical University which is one of the renowned universities of South-East Asia. To diversify her knowledge and skills she joined Australian Healthcare system in 2015 after acquiring Australian Medical Council qualifications. She is now destined to complete her Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She brings with her vast experience from working as a Medical Principal House Officer in Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital rotating through various specialties including Cardiology, General Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Being passionate about General Practice, Nida holds special interest in Women and Child’s health, Preventive Medicine as well as management of chronic diseases.
Dr Daniel Varma (MBBS)
Daniel is from Brisbane but has recently worked in Adelaide. He has also worked in the USA as a doctor and England in a sporting capacity. Daniel worked at The Princess Alexandra and Ipswich Hospital’s as a registrar in medicine and cardiology. He completed a Biomedical Science degree and MBBS.
Sport is his passion. He plays National Premier League football (soccer). Daniel’s playing history includes time at Redlands United FC, Cumberland United FC, West Torrens Birkalla AFC and South Adelaide Panthers FC. He is also an FFA B licence accredited coach and is continuing his education along Australia's professional coaching pathway.
He enjoys golf and plays to a handicap of 10. Other interests include watching all sports, surfing, greyhound racing, chess and travelling. His favorite countries are the USA, Germany and Iceland and his favourite foods are Italian, Indian and Vietnamese.
Daniel’s goal in life is to achieve professional and personal success whilst maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Words to live by: “Find an obsession, make it your profession and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
